AMU is Requesting Your Self Tapes for War of the Worlds!

This is our official request for an AMU War of the Worlds casting call. On October 2nd AMU will be producing this epic radio drama “live” at Talyard Brewing Company. We have moved to a self tape audition in lieu of in person. (If you have already registered to audition – you will receive instructions for next steps this week. No need to re-register.) Get Your Ticket for the Houston Media Conference August 22-24

AMU is a proud sponsor of the 2025 Houston Media Conference. We will be on hand for pop-up coaching sessions, and we will also be producing live podcasts throughout the event. This is what you will experience. Houston Cinema Arts Society (HCAS) and the Southwest Alternate Media Project (SWAMP) present the Houston Media Conference. Exhibiting local and national production companies, equipment rental houses and featuring speakers from film, television, digital media, legal, and financial professions to discuss and provide information about the business side of filmmaking, the Houston Media Conference intends to provide an open forum where professionals involved in all aspects of production can meet, greet and engage with representatives from Houston’s film industry.
